Technion’s main campus, also known as Technion City, is located on a 300 acre/1.2 square kilometer site on the pine-covered north-eastern slopes of Mount Carmel. Its modern and vibrant Haifa campus provides students with all of the modern amenities and services they will need to study and live comfortably at Technion
Extensive sports facilities are available on campus, including a gymnasium, fitness center, an Olympic swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, and a basketball court. The Canada Recreation Center offers various classes for students such as ballroom dancing, Pilates, belly dancing, yoga and kickboxing.
More than 200 courses in 51 sports are offered in the Physical Education and Sports Department. Over 500 students play on 34 different teams in the various Academic Sports Association events. All students are encouraged to find a sport activity that they can enjoy
