Technion Update

Shalom,

In light of today’s situational assessment and in accordance with the standing directives from the Home Front Command, the Technion administration has decided on the following measures:

• Operations at the Technion campuses in Haifa will proceed as scheduled tomorrow, Monday October 23, 2023, unless new directives from the Home Front Command are received.
• The daycare facilities for children of Technion staff will remain open and operate as usual.
• During these challenging times, as many Israeli citizens are being called up for reserve duty, the Technion extends its support to its students who have been mobilized. Benefits include an exemption from October dormitory rent, academic accommodations, and financial aid. A comprehensive list of these benefits can be found on the Technion website.
